It’s been a while since I’ve felt the need to update housekeeping information on this site. But the time has come.
First, I sincerely thank each and every one of you for visiting this site. You are always welcome here and I look forward to your feedback. It’s in the building of community that websites like this thrive.
However, here I issue a word of warning. While I really look forward to your comments, I will not be sucked in by spam and trolling which activities have become all too common in the last several months. Every comment is reviewed in detail prior to being approved for publishing to the public.
First the comments go through scanning, then I personally review each and every one and I email the individual who posted the comment. If, as so often happens of late, my email is returned as undeliverable I delete the comment and report it as abuse to the authorities.
At the same time, if the poster includes a reference to his or her website, I check it out. If I find that the website link goes to an inferior site, I delete that reference.
You see, I don’t have time or patience for abusive spamming or trolling. And I refuse to inflict this kind of behavior on those who come to my website in good faith.
We live in crazy times right now. Not only is our personal health and well-being under attack but so too is our online health at risk. I believe it is critical that we protect the integrity of every aspect of our lives and that includes social media. I encourage you to join me in a quest for sanity in these troubled times.
