It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Bandelier National Monument.
I was surprised to see just how much the flash flood in 2013 and Las Conchas fire of 2011 affected this beautiful site. But there’s still a timeless beauty that captivates us. You can’t scale those mountains without realizing just how small and insignificant you are. It’s a delightful day trip and a trek into history that leaves me in awe.
