Recognition is a the holy grail of the Internet. In fact, it's the prize that all Bloggers strive to achieve.Oh, yes, content is king (you DO have to have something to offer) and traffic is every bit as critical.
The challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to establish yourself as a person who is more than just a flash in the pan. You need to be recognized as an authority. There are lots of ways to do that. It all boils down to marketing. There are all sorts of tools to accomplish this.
You should be writing press releases, setting up Facebook and Twitter accounts, and networking with others everywhere on the net. It takes time and persistence to build credibility. But one of the niftiest tools I've found so far is the little "SearchMe" button you see on the right side of this page.
Click on it and you'll see a Google search of my various posts on the internet. It's there, just in case you want to learn more about who I am and what I do.
