Progress is made in fits and starts. And that’s perfectly OK.
It’s absolutely amazing how technology mirrors and magnifies real life. They both have the same foibles and the same ah-ha moments. Once you catch this concept, everything falls into place.
We do not control life – or technology! It goes on whether we do or not! They’re both, certainly, bigger than we are.
Our task is simple -Â troubleshoot, solve problems, make sense out of chaos. We have nothing more than time and our creativity to accomplish this.
Then family crises and computer crashes just happen. Like death, they occur in the blink of an eye. All the energy and time we’ve spent can evaporate instantaneously. And, we begin again.
There’s never cause for concern. It will be as it will.
So, how does an independent contractor or a small business manage? By taking everything in stride. Once we recognize that we can’t know everything and we can’t do everything that needs to be done, things start to fall into place.
We begin to focus a bit more… discard more…Â enjoy more…Â Â
And, we being to recognize that when all is said and done, we are only expected to do and be all we can…and not one iota more. The Universe / God asks nothing more.
