This Memorial Day I remember and honor the men and women who died in the US military. But I focus on more than that this year. I remember and honor the principles and ideals that this country stands for – the best this country has to offer. This is what those brave men and women fought for and this is what they gave their lives for. They served a country that stood for human dignity…the right for all men to enjoy liberty, health and happiness.
This year I pray that they did not die in vain.
